D'Andre Swift Gets Involved In The Passing Game
4 years agoDetroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift mustered only 12 rushing yards but caught a team-high five passes for 60 yards in the Lions loss to the Packers in Week 2. One week after dropping a game-winning touchdown against the Bears, the rookie secured all five of his targets. The Lions Defense was no match for the Packers offense but Swift was able to make some plays in the passing game. The running back carries were split 8-7 with Kerryon Johnson and Adrian Peterson but Swift showed off his versatility. The rookie, however, is not ready for fantasy prime time just yet heading into Week 3 and is a bench stash until he gets more opportunities.
