Dan Ige suffered a close decision loss to Bryce Mitchell in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 79. Ige entered the scrap on a two-fight winning streak, as he beat two unranked opponents and was finally getting another crack at a top-10 opponent. Unfortunately, Ige struggled against Mitchell's grappling, as the Hawaiian was taken down five times and was controlled for over seven minutes. With the loss, Ige drops to 17-7 as a pro, 9-6 in the UFC, and is 3-5 in his last eight fights. Ige will likely fight an unranked opponent next.--Cole Shelton
