Toronto Blue Jays third base prospect Damiano Palmegiano (undisclosed) has been hitting well on his rehab assignment for Single-A Dunedin. Palmegiano has been on the 7-day injured list with an undisclosed injury since May 22 and began his rehab assignment on June 1. In his recovery, Palmegiano has gone 7-for-21 with a pair of homers. For Triple-A Buffalo this season, the third baseman hit .228 with seven homers and 23 RBI. With the Blue Jays season going up and down and rumors about potential big-league players being dealt, it would seem to reason that Palmegiano would be a potential replacement in that scenario. For now, Palmegiano can be left on the waiver wire, but he would be worth a flier in redraft leagues with the right opportunity.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBallerRead More News
