2 months agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore (concussion) and linebacker Shaq Thompson (shoulder) have been ruled out for Week 17 against the Saints. With nothing on the line in the regular season finale, this shouldn't come as a big surprise. Thompson underwent a procedure on his shoulder on Thursday. In his second season, Moore was the team's best wideout, securing 87 catches (135 targets) for 1,175 yards and four touchdowns, and that came with quarterback Cam Newton (foot) out for most of the year. If Newton returns in 2020 and stays healthy, Moore could improve on those numbers. Curtis Samuel and Jarius Wright will be the top two wideouts for Week 17 against New Orleans.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
