Curtis Samuel Limited At Minicamp

Washington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel was limited at mandatory minicamp this week because head coach Ron Rivera and the training staff felt like he was in a "good spot" after what he did at organized team activities and last Tuesday's minicamp practice. The Commanders don't want to push Samuel anymore, but Rivera said it wasn't related to Samuel's groin issue. The 25-year-old played in only five games and caught six passes for 27 yards in his first year in D.C. in 2021, but he's fully healthy now and could bounce back in Washington's offense alongside Terry McLaurin and rookie Jahan Dotson, who is getting plenty of work in with new quarterback Carson Wentz with McLaurin holding out.
