The Chicago Cubs drafted college southpaw Jordan Wicks with the 21st overall selection in the 2021 amateur draft. The left-handed starter out of Kansas State University is known as an advanced arm that should move swiftly through the minor league system. He was ranked by Rotoballer as the 21st-best prospect available in the draft. He has an average fastball and plus changeup. The lefty has shown an improved breaking ball this year, has good control, and mixes his pitches well. If he signs, Wicks instantly becomes one of the top prospects in the Cubs system.--Marc Hulet - RotoBallerRead More News
