4 years agoHouston Astros starter Cristian Javier will take the mound Tuesday in Oakland against the A's. After a fantastic month of April, Javier will take a 5.71 ERA over his last three starts into this matchup. Javier really struggled May 8 against Toronto, walking four batters while allowing five runs and failing to pitch through the sixth inning. The right-handed starter bounced back with a quality, seven-inning start last week and will try and continue his early-season success against the A's. Javier pitched five shutout innings against the A's on April 8, making the 24-year-old a solid, if unspectacular, DFS choice for Tuesday.--Joey C - RotoBaller
