Corey Seager Could Hit Off Tee Soon
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager (hand) is inching closer to a return and manager Dave Roberts said on Tuesday that the star shortstop could start taking swings off of a tee in the next couple of days. Seager's hand has been healing faster than expected and he has also been traveling with the team. Seager has been sidelined since May 16 with a fractured right hand. The upcoming free agent was hitting .265 with four home runs and 22 prior to being placed on the 10-day injured list. Infielder Gavin Lux will continue to play shortstop in his absence and should move back to second base when Seager eventually returns.
