Corey Grant 2018 Outlook: Poised to Capture RB2 Role in Jaguar Country
6 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back Corey Grant began last year as the fourth running back on the depth chart, but proved to be more effective than his running mates. In an admittedly small sample, Grant averaged 8.3 yards per attempt on 30 carries. He has been used sparingly, but has always shown great burst on the field and is more dynamic than T.J. Yeldon. This could be the year he leaps to the primary backup role, although he will still get little playing time behind bellcow Leonard Fournette. Grant is a handcuff to keep on your watch list if you are a Fournette owner.
