Cooper Rush Loses For The First Time In Week 6
2 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush lost for the first time in his NFL career in a Week 6 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Rush had played mostly mistake-free football as the fill-in for starter Dak Prescott (thumb), but that all came crashing down in Week 6 against a very obviously well-prepared Eagles defense. Rush completed just 18 of his 38 pass attempts for 181 yards. He threw one touchdown but three interceptions. Under pressure all night, Rush was somehow able to escape without taking a sack, but plenty of throwaways and the three picks had something to do with it. With Prescott expected to be ready for Week 7, Rush will return to his role as the backup quarterback in Dallas.
