Conor Sheary Extends Point Streak To Four Games
2 years agoWashington Capitals winger Conor Sheary extended his point streak to four games in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Islanders and now sits just one game shy of matching his career-best scoring run. Sheary scored the Capitals' only goal Wednesday and his point streak includes three goals in total. Before starting his current streak, Sheary posted only one point in 19 games and the lack of production has resulted in him having to settle for a fourth-line role, but he's made a big impact in limited minutes. The 30-year-old has notched 15 goals in total this season with 20 assists in 75 games.
