Vancouver Canucks forward Conor Garland scored his first goal of the season during the club's disappointing performance on Saturday night. The club fell 3-1 to the rebuilding Detroit Red Wings. Bo Horvat and Tanner Pearson added the helpers for the club's lone goal. Garland now has three points in his first three games with the Canucks after spending his first three NHL seasons with the Arizona Coyotes. Along with his offense, Garland has contributed in multiple categories early on including PIMs, hits, and shots. He's also seeing time on the club's second power-play unit. The 25-year-old is averaging just over 19 minutes of ice time per game and has a solid opportunity to best his career-high of 39 points now that he has a better supporting cast.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
