Connor Seabold Slated For MLB Debut
Boston Red Sox pitching prospect Connor Seabold has been recalled to the major league roster. He'll make his MLB debut on Saturday against the White Sox. A former third-round pick of the Phillies, Seabold was dealt to Boston at the 2020 trade deadline. He went 2-3 with a 3.67 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and .201 OBA through eight outings at Triple-A this season. The right-hander, who ranks 13th on MLB Pipeline's list of Red Sox prospects, offers a mid-90s fastball and effective changeup that features late fade. He has also thrown his slider and curveball effectively.
