Connor McDavid Racks Up Five Points On Sunday
1 year agoEdmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid had a walk in the park against Anaheim on Sunday, recording five points in a massive 8-2 win. He scored his seventh goal of the season to tie the game at two and compiled four assists. McDavid joined Wayne Gretzky and Jari Kurri as the only players in Oilers history with back-to-back four-assist outings. Additionally, he moved past Evgeni Malkin for most five-point efforts among active players, having registered his ninth such game. The Oilers captain has looked like a man from another planet lately, amassing nine points in two games. It seems like McDavid is finally back to his best after previously struggling by his standards. He's now boasting 25 points for the season, with 15 of them coming in the past seven matches.
