Connor McDavid Hits Goal No. 60
2 years agoEdmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid hit 60 goals for the season Wednesday, netting twice in a 4-3 overtime win against the Coyotes. He started the scoring on the power play and capped it off in the extra frame. The NHL now has 60-goal scorers in back-to-back seasons for only the fourth time in league history. The fruitful night also extended McDavid's multi-point streak to six games. The Oilers captain continues to perform at a very high level, breaking records along the way. He reached 62 power-play points for the season Wednesday and it's the most among all active players. For the season in total, McDavid has collected a godly 138 points in 72 games.
