Commanders Hosting Kyle Hamilton

The Washington Commanders are hosting top safety prospect Kyle Hamilton of Notre Dame on Monday, according to a source. With Washington holding pick No. 11 in the upcoming draft, it is possible that Hamilton falls to them, especially if multiple quarterbacks go off the board early. Washington finished 29th in passing yards allowed per game, a mark that head coach Ron Rivera and defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio undoubtedly want to address. Hamilton finished his third year at Notre Dame with 34 tackles (19 solo) and three interceptions through seven games before suffering a knee injury that sidelined him for the remainder of the season. An extremely versatile player, Hamilton would be expected to provide an immediate boost to the pass defense of whoever drafts him.
