It was not Round 1 that kept Collin Morikawa from making the cut at TPC-Sawgrass, it was Round 2. The problem was Morikawa started poorly on Friday much like Thursday but bogeyed holes 1 and 3. He also could never get in position to birdie holes. When the American golfer did, his putter went uncharacteristically cold as he lost more than a stroke gained overall.
