Cole Beasley Put On Injured Reserve
1 year agoThe New York Giants placed wide receiver Cole Beasley (quadriceps) on their practice-squad Injured Reserve on Monday and signed receiver Cam Sims to the practice squad in a corresponding move. It means that Beasley won't be eligible to play in the team's first four games of the regular season. Beasley was left off the 53-man roster heading into the start of the 2023 regular season, and he's unlikely to have much of a role in New York's crowded receiver corps if he ever joins the active roster. To open the year, Parris Campbell will serve as the team's starting slot receiver, but the G-Men also have second-year wideout Wan'Dale Robinson.
