Clyde Edwards-Helaire Officially Out Sunday
4 years agoKansas City Chiefs rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle, hip) is officially out for Week 16 against the Falcons. The promising rookie suffered a high-ankle sprain in the Week 15 win over the Saints and is likely to miss the rest of the regular season. If KC secures a bye in the AFC playoffs, Edwards-Helaire could be rested for three weeks. In the meantime, Le'Veon Bell will be this backfield's leader. In this high-octane Chiefs offense, any running back seeing a significant workload should have at least RB2 upside. The Falcons Defense has allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to running backs, but they are more vulnerable to RBs that catch passes, which Bell does. He'll be a solid RB2 during fantasy championship matchups.
