Clint Frazier Demoted Yet Again
7 years agoIn a widely expected move as the one extra roster spot was allowed just for Monday’s doubleheader, the New York Yankees had to drop one man from their roster, and it was Clint Frazier. The 23-year-old started in the first game, recording one hit, an RBI single in the fourth inning. He once again started in left field for the second game, also picking up a hit and a walk before Aaron Hicks took over. Frazier continues to show he’s more than capable of holding his own in the majors but remains blocked, as the Yankees already feature multiple outfielders on their roster. It appears his only way back for a consistent period of time would be as a result of someone else’s injury.
