2 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard CJ McCollum had an immense scoring night against Philadelphia on Friday, netting a season-high 42 points and hitting a franchise-record 11 attempts from deep. He broke Peja Stojakovic's record which had stood since 2007. Zion Williamson added 36 points and the Pelicans rolled to an impressive 127-116 victory. McCollum was 11-for-16 in total from deep and shot 13-for-20 overall with four rebounds, five assists and two steals in 35 minutes. That's now two 40-point efforts from McCollum in five games, with him having found his feet in recent weeks following a less-than-impressive start to the campaign.
