Christopher Bell Dominates Late To Win Dirt Race
2 years agoJoe Gibbs Racing made it back to victory lane for the second year in a row at the Food City Dirt Race. Last year, Kyle Busch took home the checkered flag after Tyler Reddick and Chase Briscoe wrecked while battling for the lead. This year, Christopher Bell stayed out on old tires at the end of Stage 2 and led the last 100 laps to get the win. Bell was lamenting this week that a "dirt guy" had yet to win the only NASCAR Cup Series race on dirt. On Sunday, he changed that, taking his No. 20 Toyota to victory lane. The win was Bell's first this season and the fifth of his career.
