2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said he's not sure if running back Christian McCaffrey will make his debut for the team in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs after the team acquired him late Thursday night from the Carolina Panthers. "I'm still up in the air whether we're going to be able to get him here for Sunday or not," Shanahan said. "I know for sure he'll be here the following Sunday. But that's kind of why I'm in a wait-and-see approach right now." Shanahan doesn't anticipate talking with CMC until after Friday's practice. There's not expected to be any complications, but McCaffrey will also have to take a physical before he's allowed to play with the team. The 26-year-old will be an extremely risky play if he's active for the Niners this weekend, with Jeff Wilson Jr. likely seeing most of the work in what will probably be his last fantasy relevant week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
