4 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) is unlikely to play in Week 11 against the Lions due to his shoulder injury, and the team is still preparing for a multi-week absence, according to a source. Fantasy managers were hoping that McCaffrey would only be out for one week, but that doesn't look like the case. The Panthers have their bye in Week 13, so there's a chance that they decide to keep the All-Pro running back out again in Week 12 so that he'll have plenty of time to get back to 100 percent. Hopefully you have Mike Davis handcuffed if you roster McCaffrey. The 27-year-old Davis will continue to be used in a featured role if McCaffrey misses another game, and he'd be a high-end RB2 this weekend against a Lions Defense that has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
