Christian Kirk 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Ready To Regain Form In H-Town
Christian Kirk is already going into his eighth NFL season. After breaking the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in 2022 with the Jacksonville Jaguars, injuries derailed Kirk's 2023 and 2024 campaigns. His production when he was on the field the past two years was average-at-best as he was overshadowed in 2023 by tight end Evan Engram and 2024 by breakout star Brian Thomas Jr. Now Kirk gets a fresh start with the Houston Texans after being traded to the AFC South champions in the offseason. The Texans present Kirk a great opportunity to have a bounce-back season. Houston's receiving corps is light on depth behind Pro Bowl pass catcher Nico Collins. WR2 Stefon Diggs took his talents to the New England Patriots, and WR3 Tank Dell will probably miss the entire 2025 season after suffering a horrific knee injury at the end of 2024. That means Kirk immediately slots in as QB C.J. Stroud's second-best option for passes behind top target Collins, who himself has a propensity for getting banged-up. I do not know if Kirk has another 1,000-yard year in the offing, but him posting a 65-900-8 line as Houston's WR2 is not out of the question for the veteran speedster.
