2 months agoOklahoma City Thunder point guard Chris Paul is possibly the biggest mystery man of the 2019-20 fantasy basketball season. It looks like he won't be traded anytime soon, so it's very hard to make any projections on how he will play. He might be disgruntled and look uninterested on the court as he's stuck on a rebuilding team in a time when he should be chasing a ring, or he might actually be pumped up to prove all the doubters wrong after having a very poor year by his standards in 2018-19. Paul averaged a career-low 15.6 points per game last season, shooting only 41.9 percent from the field. He played in only 58 regular-season games for a second consecutive year, which hurt his stock even further. A healthy Chris Paul is still a valuable fantasy asset, but he always seems to miss significant time during a season. In fact, CP3 has averaged just 65 games per season over the last eight years. He'll be a risky choice come draft time, but those brave enough to take a chance on him might be rewarded nicely in the end, as CP3 is once again the primary ball handler on his team and he should be getting close to 10 assists per game thanks to that.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
