Chris Iannetta Hits Bomb For 5th Homer
6 years agoColorado Rockies catcher Chris Iannetta isn't having a spectacular season by any measurement, but at least he made his way on to a leaderboard. Iannetta took a 2-2 pitch to one of the furthest places the Rockies have ever seen. Iannetta's tape measure home run smacked off the bricks at the very back of the stadium, clocking in at 476 feet. That's the third-longest home run hit in the majors this season, and his teammates went crazy at the solo shot. The 36-year-old obviously still has plenty of pop in his bat, but he's on pace to only collect about 250 plate appearances this season, working as the backup catcher for the organization.
