3 months agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin has surprisingly been off to a slow start to begin the season. Through two games, Godwin has 10 receptions for 109 yards and zero touchdowns. Right now, Godwin has been mainly a short yardage passing option, while Mike Evans is getting the deep balls. Despite his slow start, Godwin has the skills and potential to be a reliable contributor. However, he'll draw a tough matchup versus the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3. Oddly, the Eagles have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to wideouts this season. The expectation is that superstar defensive back Darius Slay will be on Evans this week. That means, Godwin will have an easier matchup which should lead to more success. That being said, Godwin is probably more of a WR3, but has WR2 upside for this matchup.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
