Chris Carson Ruled Out For Another Game

Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson (neck) has been ruled out for the Week 6 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. Although it was initially reported that Carson's neck injury isn't a long-term injury, he's now in danger of landing on Injured Reserve to join quarterback Russell Wilson (finger). An IR placement would mean that Carson would have to miss an additional three games. Fantasy managers should be prepared for an extended absence at this point. With both Wilson and Carson out, Seattle's offense will be a shell of its former self with Geno Smith under center and Alex Collins expected to serve as the primary running back for the second straight game. Collins saw 15 carries last week and ran for 47 yards, with DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer combining for just five carries and 12 yards. Collins should be no more than a touchdown-dependent RB3/flex against Pittsburgh.
