Chris Carson Not Expected To Play Thursday?
3 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks have not ruled running back Chris Carson (neck) out for the Thursday night game against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5, but SI.com's Corbin K. Smith thinks that Carson will not play based on head coach Pete Carroll's comments and the fact that Carson didn't practice on Tuesday or Wednesday. The 27-year-old showed up on the injury report on Tuesday and is officially listed as questionable to play on a short week. Smith also mentioned on SiriusXM Fantasy Radio that Carson is dealing with a chronic long-term neck injury, which could suggest that he is in danger of missing extended time. If Carson is inactive, Alex Collins would likely handle early down work and would have some RB3/flex appeal in deeper leagues. Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas would likely share change-of-pace work.
