The Cleveland Guardians selected high-school pitcher Chase Mobley in the 10th round with the 295th pick overall out of Durant High School in Florida. Mobley is ranked the No. 70 prospect per MLB Pipeline, but slipped a lot past his projection. The lengthy right-hander stands at 6'5, 205 pounds has hit up to 99 MPH with his fastball, but it mainly sits around 93 MPH. He is still working on his breaking pitches, but he offers plenty of upside and winds up in a great situation as Cleveland has been factory for producing pitching in recent years. Mobley, 18, is committed to Florida State and with him slipping, it is unknown if he will become a Seminole or sign with the Guardians.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBallerRead More News
