Washington Capitals goaltender Charlie Lindgren suffered an upper-body injury early against the Islanders on Friday and has been ruled out for the "foreseeable future" by head coach Spencer Carbery. He saved all three shots he faced before making an exit with less than seven minutes played in the contest. Darcy Kuemper ended up taking a heavy beating as Lindgren's replacement, as Washington was completely outplayed and suffered a 5-1 defeat. Lindgren has performed superbly for the Capitals this season, and his injury is a major blow for the team. In 14 starts, Lindgren has produced a 7-3-3 record with a 2.27 goals-against average and a .928 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
