Charlie Lindgren In Washington Goal Against Columbus
2 years agoWashington Capitals goaltender Charlie Lindgren will make his first start since Jan. 19 on Tuesday against Columbus. Darcy Kuemper is the main man in the crease in D.C., but Lindgren has seen plenty of action as well this season, going 11-6-2 with 18 starts. He has posted a 2.66 goals-against average and a .907 save percentage. The Blue Jackets have some elite offensive talent on the roster, but the Capitals have dominated the matchup through the years, even winning seven of their last nine trips to Ohio, and Lindgren seems to be in a great spot to finally get his first win of 2023.
