Charlie Blackmon In The Lineup Tuesday
2 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon (hamstring) is serving as the designated hitter and is batting cleanup on Tuesday against the San Francisco Giants and right-hander Logan Webb. Blackmon was forced from Sunday's game early against the San Diego Padres with left hamstring soreness, but he will end up not missing a game after Monday's off day. The 36-year-old veteran outfielder has been cold in the month of September, going 16-for-74 (.216) with no homers, seven RBI, three runs scored and 20 strikeouts in 20 games. However, he's been better recently, going 11-for-33 (.333) with three RBI and two runs scored in nine games since Sept. 17.
