Charles Omenihu Returning To Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed defensive end Charles Omenihu. They've agreed on a one-year, $7 million contract for the upcoming season. Omenihu didn't play a full season in 2024 because he was still recovering from an ACL tear from 2023. Before suffering his season-ending knee injury, Omenihu recorded 28 tackles, five tackles for loss, and seven sacks in 11 games in 2023. He put up minimal stats last season, but he only played in six games. This is a solid deal for the Chiefs to bring back a valuable defensive piece.

The matchup offers some encouragement, although head coach Dan Quinn has indicated that Washington plans to increase Austin Ekeler's involvement, with Jeremy McNichols also available. White carries no Week 8 injury designation and sits at RB18 in RotoBaller's updated PPR rankings. Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Dont'e Thornton Jr. is a healthy scratch on Sunday for the team's Week 8 road matchup against the New York Jets. Thornton only deserves to be stashed right now in deep dynasty/keeper leagues.
