Chad Johnson Set to Start Against Senators
7 years agoBuffalo Sabres goaltender Chad Johnson will be making his third consecutive start on Wednesday night against the visiting Ottawa Senators. Johnson has won two of his last four appearances, but has given up at least three goals in all but one of them, posting a subpar .888 save percentage. Unfortunately, that is about what you can expect from Johnson, who has an .895 save percentage on the year. Except for a seven-goal explosion against Nashville last week, Buffalo’s offense has struggled and will likely need to do better than their league-worst 2.38 goals-per-game average if they are going to give Johnson the kind of goal support he will need. Johnson is not a recommended option, even with considerably limited options Wednesday.
