8 months agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Chad Bettis cashed in on the chance to face the light-hitting Giants in the friendly confines of Oracle Park and was rewarded with a no-decision. Bettis had been demolished in both of his previous two outings, so the five-inning, two-run affair on Friday was easily his best start of the year, even if he didn't end up catching the win. Bettis should only really be a consideration in situations like this where he's getting to face a weak lineup in a pitcher-friendly park, so he should only be watched in deep leagues or when someone desperately needs a streamer. His home start against the Phillies next week does not fit the bill.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
