7 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Chad Bettis was removed from Tuesday's outing after five innings and just 89 pitches, but it wasn't due to being ineffective. Instead, Bettis developed a spot that was "raw" on his right middle finger, according to Patrick Saunders.
