CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys Haven't Had "Substantial Talks"
8 months agoAccording to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb have yet to have "substantial talks" regarding a new contract. The wideout is slotted to make nearly $18 million on his fifth-year option. Training camp will be here soon, meaning a holdout could be on the horizon if a new deal isn't done. In the meantime, there's also a chance Lamb won't participate in any of the Cowboys' team activities in the next couple of months. With that said, the 25-year-old is a proven pass-catcher. He had a fantastic season in 2023-24, finishing with 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns off 135 catches, all career-highs. Although Lamb is expected to remain a first-round fantasy option, that may change if an agreement isn't reached shortly, especially if it means Lamb might miss a few games to begin the year.
