Carter Hart Tries To End His Losing Run Against Detroit
2 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers goaltender Carter Hart will make his 45th start of the season Sunday, hoping to end a six-game losing streak against Detroit. Hart had a pretty decent start to the campaign, but he has tasted victory only six times since the turn of the year. One of the wins came against the Red Wings on Jan. 21. The 24-year-old boasts a 16-19-10 record overall for the season, having allowed 2.94 goals per game with a .907 save percentage and one shutout. The Red Wings are also slumping with five consecutive defeats and have lost 14 of their last 16 trips to Philadelphia, so Hart looks to be in a good spot to end his skid.
