Carson Wentz, Jack Doyle Questionable Against Dolphins
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz (ankles) and tight end Jack Doyle (back) are both questionable to face the Miami Dolphins in Week 4. After Wentz played on two sprained ankles last week and got in limited practices all week, there's nothing to suggest that he won't play this Sunday against Miami. He's still not 100 percent but is feeling better than he did a week ago. With that said, Wentz went just 19-for-37 for 194 yards and didn't attempt to run at all in the Week 3 loss to the Tennessee Titans, and he should only be used as a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues this weekend. Doyle missed practice Wednesday and Thursday but was limited on Friday, giving him a chance to play. The Colts haven't been throwing the ball enough to make Doyle or Mo Alie-Cox more than a desperation TE2 play.
