Carson Hocevar Should Deliver Another Strong Run at Nashville
6 months agoCarson Hocevar qualified 15th for today's race at Nashville, faster than both Spire Motorsports teammates again despite no past experience in the NASCAR Cup Series at this track. He has been successful here in other series, though, as he won last year's Craftsman Truck Series race, although he crashed in the following day's Xfinity Series race so it's difficult to determine which of those will better predict his finish today. Hocevar has built up a steady consistency with four straight finishes of 17th or better on vastly different track types, which has flown a little under the radar because of his fellow rookie, Josh Berry, has had a recent string of top-10 runs. Considering Hocevar's done a nice job avoiding crashes for most of the year and he has won here before, a top twenty would be a solid bet and he might be a dark horse for a top 10.
