2 years agoShortstop Carlos Correa has passed his physical with the Minnesota Twins, and the team is expected to officially announce their six-year, $200 million deal with the 28-year-old on Wednesday. Correa's physical was a big deal after both the San Francisco Giants and New York Mets backed out of big deals with him due to concerns over a surgery that he had on a fractured right fibula back in 2014 when he was in the minors. The Twins signed Correa to a one-year, $35.1 million deal in 2022, so they were likely more comfortable with his medical records. If Correa remains healthy well into his new deal, he could stick with the Twins for up to 10 seasons due to vesting options that could net him an additional $70 million.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
