1 month agoThe St. Louis Cardinals are showing interest in starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu, according to a source. The market for Ryu has been pretty quiet so far this winter, but it should pick up soon now that the big names of Gerrit Cole, Stephen Strasburg, Anthony Rendon and Zack Wheeler are off the market. The Korean left-hander was absolutely fantastic in 2019 for the Dodgers, going 14-5 with a 2.32 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 163 strikeouts in 182 2/3 innings over his 29 starts. There is some risk of injury with Ryu, but when he's been healthy he's been lights-out for fantasy owners. Staying in L.A. would probably be the most ideal for his fantasy value, but Ryu will still be highly coveted no matter where he goes.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
