Cardinals Hire Monti Ossenfort As New General Manager
2 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals hired Monti Ossenfort as their new general manager on Monday, according to sources. Ossenfort won four Super Bowls with the New England Patriots before spending the last three years as the Tennessee Titans' director of player personnel. He comes highly respected in the scouting world. Ossenfort interviewed with a panel of Cardinals executives last Friday, including owner Michael Bidwell. The 44-year-old brings 21 years of experience with him to the desert. During his time in Tennessee, the Titans made the playoffs by winning the AFC South in 2020 and 2021. His first order of business in Arizona will be finding a new head coach after the team fired Kliff Kingsbury on Jan. 9.
