4 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton has struggled as a passer this year, and he went just 9-for-16 for 119 yards with an interception and four sacks taken in last Thursday's loss to the Rams. Jarrett Stidham took over late in that game and went 5-for-7 for 27 yards with two sacks in three drives. But head coach Bill Belichick said on Monday that he's sticking with Newton under center. If the 31-year-old can't get anything going on the ground or find the end zone with his legs, he's been a disappointment for fantasy managers in his first year in New England. Against Miami in Week 15, Newton is an obvious fade in leagues that start just one QB.
