4 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton (abdomen) remained limited in practice on Wednesday and is officially questionable for Thursday night against the Rams. Despite the questionable tag, Newton is fully expected to suit up against Los Angeles. He had two more rushing touchdowns in the blowout over the Chargers in Week 13, but Newton has a tough matchup and also hasn't topped 100 yards passing in the last two games. The Rams Defense has allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing signal-callers this season, including just three rushing touchdowns allowed to the position. Newton has given his fantasy managers a solid floor because of his legs, but you might not even be able to count on that this week.
