Cam Collier Snaps Minor Skid
4 months agoCincinnati Reds third base prospect Cam Collier has snapped his previous 1-for-13 skid he held for most of last week. In his previous three games, the first-round selection in the 2022 MLB Draft has gone 5-for-9 with a .556/.600/.778 line with five RBI and two doubles. Prior to his minor cold stretch, the infielder posted a dominant .417/.523/.722 line his previous 10 games. Collier has spent the entire summer at High-A and held a solid .248/.344/.424 line with 15 home runs, 59 RBI, 19 doubles and a 50:119 BB:K ratio through 99 games. The 19-year-old is ranked as the fifth-best prospect in the Reds system on MLB.com and should spend most of next summer in the upper levels of the minor leagues.
