2 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers rushed for 42 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries in the Rams' 17-16 comeback win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night. The 23-year-old struggled to break free from tackles or find running room. His longest run was for nine yards and he got stopped for no gain twice. He did score a touchdown for the second-straight game. Now that he has the backfield all to himself, his production has been more consistent, albeit consistently inefficient. Rookie RB Kyren Williams is not yet cutting into his workload. Williams only had three carries. With this workload, Akers will remain a possible flex in deep leagues.--Mitchell Blatt - RotoBaller
