2 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers ran for 65 yards on 12 carries and caught three passes for 35 yards in LA's 24-12 loss to the Packers at Lambeau Field. Despite poor blocking by the Rams offensive line, Akers kept his legs churning and made many positive plays. His 5.3 yards-per-carry figure was his highest of the season. He also led the Rams in receiving yards. He has now made catches in each of the past three games. He will try to maintain his status as a low-end RB2 next week, but will have a tougher go of it against a stingy Denver Broncos defense.--Mitchell Blatt - RotoBaller
